HotKid - Yours and Mine

This has to be one of more cleverly made music videos I’ve seen in a long while. Director and co-editor Alon Isocianu takes this punky-fast rock song and stirs it up with ultra-fast cuts and a wry sense of humor. There’s a caution on the YouTube page about not watching this if you have epilepsy, and I don’t think they’re kidding.  But take the plunge you should - this is excellent stuff.

The vid was an introduction for me to the hot Ontario, Canadian duo Shiloh Harrison (guitar, vocals) and Robbie Butcher (the drums).  They have two self-releases to date - Under the Streetlight EP from whence this song comes, available on 10” sea-green vinyl (ordered!), as well as a 2009 full-length Someday Somehow.
